In the mountainous area of the province of Fars (Pars) in southern Iran, a powerful explosion occurred. Local residents report that the explosion was caused by a strike on the area of unknown ammunition.
According to preliminary data, the explosion was very strong, the inhabitants of the surrounding area felt a powerful wave that spread from the epicenter.
The reason and exact purpose are still unclear. The official Iranian authorities at the time of publication did not comment in detail.
Some Israeli media write that the explosion could have been heard in the territory where one of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear laboratories is located. Although in the Israeli tradition, any arrival is usually described as a blow to an “important military target”, especially if the strike was carried out by Israeli troops.
At the same time, the IDF command does not comment on the information about the attack on Iran. Also, no other command of Tehran’s opponents claimed responsibility for the strike on the province of Pars at this hour.
