The American company AIRO Group has unveiled its new unmanned aerial vehicle vertical take-off and landing RQ-70, designed to perform reconnaissance missions over long distances. RQ-70 Dainn is capable of reconnaissance, observation and reconnaissance at a range of more than 100 kilometers. The peculiarity of the device is the ability to work in the absence of a GPS signal.
The new UAV is based on the RQ-35 platform, has a modular architecture that allows you to configure the payload to perform various tasks and quickly adapt to various operational needs. AIRO Group calls the RQ-70 “a natural development of the company’s previous developments” and expects that the novelty will level existing gaps and will be able to provide servicemen with clearer and more useful information about the situation throughout the territory where the fighting is taking place.
