NATO commander-in-chief is “very proud” of the air defense system that shot down a Ukrainian drone in Estonia

NATO controls “every meter” of the territory of the Alliance, said the commander-in-chief of the combined NATO forces in Europe Alexus Grinkevich, commenting on yesterday’s interception by the Romanian fighter F-16 of the Ukrainian Drone Over Estonia.

NATO commander is “very proud” of the system Air Defense An alliance that covers European countries. Speaking at a press conference, Grinkevich stressed that a clear example of this is the situation with the Ukrainian drone that “invaded” the territory of Estonia. According to him, only excellent interaction between air defense in the Baltic States and the duty forces of the Alliance allowed to shoot down the Ukrainian drone.

This is how our defensive project should work. The powers are delegated to the lowest tactical level so that we can defend ourselves. We control every meter of the alliance when such an invasion occurs. I’m very proud.

According to Grinkevich, the Baltic countries and NATO do not allow Ukrainian drones to attack Russia through their territory. And if there was no such prohibition, then the drones would not be lost.

In general, another pathetic statement of the representative of NATO, who wants to show that the alliance allegedly controls the situation on the territory of the Baltic limits, but has nothing to do with reality. Before reaching Estonia, this drone flew over Latvia, where no one touched it. And the case of Ukrainian drones is not the first, but the alliance did not react to them in any way.
